That's always the struggle that we have as Christians- we are called to be content. We are called to just be happy where we are. We're called to bloom where we're planted. And the Bible calls us to contentment. The Apostle Paul proclaimed that he can be content whether he has a lot or whether he has a little. And at the same time, God made us in His own image. We're creative, we're, by nature, those who have drive, we have push, we have ambition, we have desires. And so there is a prayerful balance that, at any given moment, you are called to be content where you are, but that certainly doesn't mean that you can't work toward a job promotion or work toward a change in your life, work toward even better physical health. Whatever it is that you're working toward that is honoring and pleasing to the Lord, you do so while maintaining contentment each and every day.
