There's three good reasons to pray. First of all, God commands prayer. And that alone should be enough for us, but the second great reason is to understand that while God has ordained the end of all things, he has also ordained the means and that means is prayer. We are to pray because that is the way that he accomplishes his will. But, really, the third reason is very simple and very personal. We need to pray. We need to be in fellowship with God, and that has to do with our relationship with him. So, pray, believing and loving the sovereignty of God, but pray with all of your heart.
