First of all, if you're a man and you have a family, you are the provider. And I know people are going to throw tomatoes in this day and age, but you are the provider. That is your job. And sometimes that includes doing things you don't like.
I've never heard somebody who has a job they hate come home and say, you know, I'm just so thankful to do this very task that I absolutely loathe and despise. But I have heard godly men say, I'm so thankful that God has provided for my family and that because I'm doing this thing that it's not the funnest thing in the world and it's hard and it wears me out, that we have this nice meal before us and that we have a place to live and that my children have clothes. So if you're a man who's a provider and you don't like your job, you have two options, two and two only.
Number one, be diligent and get a new one. Or number two, stop complaining about it and pray to the Lord to have a great attitude and to be the best worker in that job you don't like and demonstrate Christ's likeness there in submission and be thankful for what the Lord has given you.
