Series Synopsis
A hymn, from the Greek word hymnos, is a God-focused theologically rich song which explains and celebrates truths of Scripture. The fact is that the greatest hymns of the Christian faith tend to outlast - often by centuries - the greatest sermons ever preached. And what the hymn writers of the past and present know is that biblical truth put to song carries us for a lifetime of praise to and trust in the Lord. In this series, Steve preaches through John 8 and 9, and he has titled each message after a great hymn which reflects truths found in each passage. Let your heart be drawn to Christ and a greater worship of God as you listen to What the Hymn Writers Know.
