Series Synopsis

The Church of Jesus Christ rises and falls on the integrity and qualifications of her shepherds. Godly shepherds are a gift to the Church from Christ (Ephesians 4:8, 11) yet ungodly or unqualified shepherds can be a detriment to God's people (Ezekiel 34:1-10). The members of Christ's church need to be well-aware of the office of elder/overseer/pastor in the church so that they can properly identify the best candidates and even perhaps find themselves progressing toward eldership. The elders of Christ's church need to be continually exhorted to remember these fundamental truths as well in order to properly lead God's people. In this detailed series on The Church's Shepherds, Steve will give a comprehensive treatment to the all-important issue of the leadership of Christ's church.
