Series Synopsis
Is the Promised Land as granted to Abraham for Israel an actual promise which will come true on the historic land of Israel in the future? Or does the Promised Land now represent a more global and comprehensive promise to the Church to inherit the world under the banner of Christ? This question is the pivot point for deciding whether the Old and New Testaments are interpreted in two differing ways or if all Scripture is interpreted the same way from Genesis to Revelation. In this series, as part of the overall Millennium series, Steve will demonstrate from numerous angles that what Abraham received from God is precisely what Israel shall receive. Is the land of Israel merely—as one theologian put it—a "plot of land in the Middle East" that symbolizes something more? The very character of God is at stake in considering this question.
