God tells us to hide His Word in our hearts because it shapes our thoughts, strengthens our faith, and helps us walk with Him daily. But memorizing long passages can feel overwhelming. What if we used that same power of music for something eternal?
That’s the heartbeat behind a new and free resource for you and your entire family!
Steadfast in the Faith is pleased to introduce Scripture Sprouts: original songs that put large portions of the Bible to music. When you listen to any of the content and sing along, you’re not just enjoying a melody—you’re planting God’s Word deep in your heart, in a way that lasts. Imagine being able to recall whole chapters of Scripture as easily as you remember your favorite song. That’s the vision. That’s the resource. And that’s what Scripture Sprouts is all about.
The entire Scripture Sprouts library can be found in the link below on SoundCloud (including a playlist for Adventure Club memory verses) - visit and follow for more songs coming soon!
Sing it. Learn it. Live it.
James Medley
James 1:1-5
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, Greetings.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
And let steadfastness have its full effect,
that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously
James 1:19-22
let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;
for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore put away
all filthiness and rampant wickedness
and receive with meekness the implanted word,
which is able to save your souls.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves
James 3:5-10
How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire,
a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body,
setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell.
For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature,
can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind,
but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God.
From the same mouth come blessing and cursing
James 4:13-14
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will
go into such and such a town and spend a year
there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not
know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a
mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
James 5:1-5
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you.
Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten.
Your gold and silver have corroded, and their
corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire.
You have laid up treasure in the last days.
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields,
which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you,
and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.
You have lived on the earth in luxury and in self-indulgence.
You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.
James 5:7-10
Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord.
See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth,
being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.
You also, be patient. Establish your hearts,
for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged;
behold, the Judge is standing at the door.
As an example of suffering and patience, brothers,
take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
James 5:19-20
My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth
and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner
from his wandering will save his soul from death
and will cover a multitude of sins.
