In Christian circles, there's always some sort of conspiracy theory floating around, and now with social media, they're everywhere. And the funny thing is, is that we make fun of them until those conspiracy theories turn out to be actual conspiracies.
The difference between a conspiracy and a conspiracy theory, of course, is that an actual conspiracy has evidence behind it that has been proven and been shown. And sometimes that's actually the case, because we live among and we're ruled by sinful men who are corrupt at every level in many cases. So sometimes conspiracy theories are a little bit odd, but sometimes they turn out to be true.
However, the bigger issue for us as Christians is that we're not put on this earth to try to uncover every conspiracy or try to figure out how to make the world a completely honest place. That will never happen until Christ returns. And so our role is to proclaim the gospel and to deal with the one conspiracy that really matters, and that was the conspiracy of the scribes and Pharisees against the Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified according to the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God so that you could come to faith in Christ having your sins forgiven and paid for.
