Is Christ Worth Following?

It always makes me sad when I hear a gospel presentation or maybe a pseudo gospel presentation, that is more of a sales presentation. Here's everything I get if I follow Christ. And to be certain, I do get a lot. You do get a lot. I get eternal life. I get a new life in my heart. I get the Holy Spirit. I get a new way of living. I get a heavenly future. There is so much that I get in following Christ. But putting aside that sort of consumer salesman mentality, Christ is worth following, because Christ is glorious. There's nobody like Christ. You will be at his side for 10 billion years and yet never have exhausted the beauties and the glories and the majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Bible, when He shows himself in all of his glory, people fall down before him, and they adore him. So follow Christ because he's worthy.

Siempre me ha entristecido escuchar una presentación del evangelio, o quizás una presentación de un pseudoevangelio, que es más una presentación de ventas. Esto es todo lo que ganaré, si sigo a Cristo. Y para ser precisos, sí gano mucho. Sí se gana mucho. Yo gano la vida eterna. Yo gano una nueva vida en mi corazón. Yo gano el Espíritu Santo. Yo gano una nueva manera de vivir. Gano un futuro celestial. Es tanto lo que gano siguiendo a Cristo. Dejando de lado toda esa mentalidad consumista de vendedor, vale la pena seguir a Cristo, porque Cristo es glorioso, No hay otro como Cristo. Estarás a su lado por 10 billones de años y no habrás agotado todas las bellezas y las glorias y la majestuosidad de Jesucristo Nuestro Señor. En la Biblia, cuando Él se muestra en toda su gloria, las personas caen a sus pies y lo adoran. Así que sigan a Cristo, porque vale la pena.
