Series Synopsis
The great Scottish Reformer, John Knox, said, “Give me Scotland or I die.” The historic evangelistic, George Whitefield, prayed, “O Lord, give me souls or take my soul.” These are the prayers of men who yearn to see the streets of heaven filled with the converted to Christ. One of the hallmarks of a healthy local church is that it has a corporate concern for the lost, and this concern manifests itself in pleading prayer. In this short series in 1 Timothy 2:1-8, Steve will examine the Evangelistic Prayer of a Healthy Church. It is sure to encourage your heart to increase your own determination to pray fervently for those yet to come to faith in Christ.
